In July, 12-year-old William Price will be cycling over 600 miles, from London to central France, to raise money for the Serge Betsen Academy.
William has been playing rugby at Wasps mini since he was 5 years old and he is totally passionate about it. He will be cycling from London to the centre of France (to a small village called Lurcy-Levis), accompanied by a very close family friend who is 65 years old.
William decided that he would like to raise money for the Serge Betsen Academy, as Serge has taken a great interest in the mini Wasps and has on many occasions given his time to come and talk to the children and encourage them. He has made a great impact upon William, who would now like to do something for Serge.
William and his friend Robert are being sponsored by 2 x 2 Worldwide. They make Land Rover bikes, and are giving one to William.
This is a fantastic idea, and I hope William and Robert get all the support they deserve. Links below, to Serge Betsen's academy, and to William and Robert's own website
Their JustGiving page is in the process of being set up, and full details will be posted here, as soon as everything is ready.
Bravo, William - et bonne chance!
