Following their first win of the new competition last weekend versus DMP Sharks, Wasps FC Ladies are set to play London Rivals, Saracens this Saturday 7th October.

The game against DMP Sharks saw Wasps dominate in the first half with 5 tries, including two from England Rugby Legend Rocky Clark and one from new team member and Red Rose, Harriet Millar-Mills. Captain Kate Alder and winger Abby Dow also took the ball across the line leaving Wasps with 32 points on the board. Despite DMP Shark’s valiant come back in the second half, they fell short of the win by 4 points.

Saracen’s also secured a major win last week ending their game 74 points up on Worcester Valkyries. However, not letting this dampen their sting and with a similar line up to last week, Wasps FC Ladies are looking for that second win. We see Hannah Edwards and Nic Smith back in the starting line- up at full back and no.6 respectively, we also see the return of Alice Sheffield to the field at 7. Last, but by no means least, is the debut appearance for Danielle Waterman, returning to the game after her World Cup performance.

Its set to be a good match and Director of Rugby, Giselle Mather, is looking forward to the game –
