After a full rotation in Tyrrell’s Premier 15’s fixtures, Wasps prepare to face Harlequins Women for the second time this season. Their first meeting saw both teams take to the field at Wasps FC in what was a fearless display of Rugby ending in a 32-38 win to Harlequins.

Last week saw Wasps FC Ladies take on Richmond in the first televised Premier 15s performance and leave with a 0-44 victory over their old rivals. Returning from playing in the Old Mutual Wealth series with England Rugby, Abby Dow, Danielle Waterman (sponsored by Europa Group and Quilter Cheviot) and Amy Cokayne all crossed the whitewash to secure tries for the team, along with Tova Derk.

Wasps FC Ladies send out a strong team to face Harlequins who currently sit above them in the table. Your front row remains the Red Roses trio of Lucas, Clarke and Cokayne but we see a change up in the rest of the pack with Elizabeth Crake joining the row. Wasp’s backs line sees a shuffle at 9 and 10 with Tina Veale starting at 9 and Hannah Edwards in at 10. Not to go unmentioned is Wasps threatening bench with the likes of Sammy Wong, Claire Purdy and captain Kate Alder ready to inject power into the game.

Abby Dow rounded up a total of 4 tries at the weekend and this week faces fellow England winger Jess Breach- it will be exciting to see how the game of speed pans out as the two go head to head at Surrey Sports Park.
