Waterhall Stars under 17's were crowned Milton Keynes Border counties division one champions on sunday 1st may,after a convincing 2-4 win away at Woodside.Stars started the better and were always in control,First goal came after a move down the left,ball was played into Alex just on the edge of the 18 yard box,he laid the ball off to Ryan who took a shot down the middle of goal,keeper got a hand to it but could'nt keep it out.HT:0-1
Woodside kick off and played a long diagonal ball that went out for a throw in to Stars.Throw in to Mark who beat the defender and crossed to the far post where Alex volley in 0-2.
Woodside scored when Stars failed to clear a long throw into the box, 1-2.
Sam scored the goal of the match,a 20 yard free kick that when top corner,1-3.It was long before jordan played a defence splitting past for Alex to score is second and Stars fourth,1-4.Stars had the opportunity to increase the score,Woodside scored their second goal in the 90th minute after an error by our keeper.Final score Woodside 2 Waterhall Stars 4.
A great job was done by referee G Fuller and assistant R Dix and M Burton.
