Match Reports

Vale of Lune RUFC

Metaphorically caps were tossed into the air at the final whistle and one was literally skimmed across the table in the Sir Norman's Bar later.

There might have been a shortage of thighs and breasts during the week but there were rich pickings to be plucked down on the farm and no cheap points on offer.

The Year of the Dog began with the Vale slipping the leash to rum amuck and bring home the marrowfat.

Onwards and Upwards...

Manchester picked up where they had left off a fortnight ago when taking the impressive bonus point away win at Stockport. By the end of the game however, early promise had turned to frustration.

Away Day...

On a sunny but bitterly cold day, Manchester put in a committed performance that fully deserved a bonus point win against their nearest rivals.

Onwards and Upwards…

A much changed team travelled to an in-form Blackburn who continued their good run, putting an end to Manchester’s winning sequence.

Northwich RUFC

A show of desire

Northwich lead and then concede during injury time against Wilmslow

When a defeat takes you up the table

Still in it till the end.

They left it late, but secured a WIN

Never leave early!!!
