Watford & St Albans join forces
This Sunday's match saw us join with our good friends St Albans U12s in a Barbarians match against the other local Watford team, Fullerians.
After a good solid warm up led by the Fullers coaches, the first quarter of the match saw Fullerians score 2 tries, and a great break from the pack by Aaron who got one back for Watford. During the second quarter there was another try for each team, making the score 3-2 to Fullers.
Both sides were equally matched during the second half, with good solid defence making it difficult for either side to break through. Watford scored another two tries, pushing through the opposition across the line. Fullers managed to turn over the ball gaining possession and unfortunately broke through our defence, finishing with the win.
Watford all played exceptionally well, putting in a huge amount of effort both in the warm up and the entire match. The boys worked as a strong team with St Albans, having a good morning out with our local rivals.
