The raffle which is running for the fourth year has proved to be one of the great success stories within the game having raised over £65,000 for clubs and the Rugby League Foundation charity in previous years and the latest draw is set to be the biggest and best yet.
Heading the list of great prizes is the star prize of a seven night trip for two to the 4* All Inclusive Turtle Beach Resort in Barbados along with £500 spending money.
England Coach, Steve McNamara said: “I’m delighted to help promote this years raffle and am sure it will once again prove to be a great success for both the community clubs and the Rugby League Foundation.”
“The raffle continues to prove an easy way for clubs to make money and is also a vital fund raiser for the Rugby League Foundation.”
“Having seen some of the prizes on offer I would urge people to buy their tickets as soon as they get the chance.”
As well as launching the raffle McNamara will play his part by contributing to one of the many prizes on offer, as the biggest selling club and school will both receive a coaching session from the England coaching team as part of their incredible prizes.
The monies from the £1 ticket sales are split between the selling organisation (70p) and the RLF (30p), whilst this year will see the prize structure include monthly prizes for the best selling club and schools.
