Both sides are just 80 minutes away from booking a place in the Grand Final and Mathew Newton is backing the champions to do just enough to get to the Widnes showpiece.
The hosts won 29-18 at the same venue back in April, however, the visitors can take some confidence from September’s 18-4 victory in the return fixture.
The Halifax side will make the trip after play-off wins over Leigh Miners Rangers and Lock Lane, whilst Wests will hope to take their second chance after losing to Wath Brow Hornets in last weekend’s qualifying semi-final.
