To round of what was yet another stunning weekend of results for the club Wath Colts ended Wheatley Hills 2 years unbeaten run at home this Sunday. With a solid performance from everyone Wath came out on top. Wheatley scored first and gave Wath the wake up call they certainly needed strong work by the entire Wath pack saw superb interplay between scrum half Josh Bird and Wing Oliver Hudson who offloaded superbly for Bird to go over. Waths other try came as good approach play by lock Luke Stead saw Wath close to the line. The ball was shipped quickly and took close by prop Tom Price and centre Paul Hutchinson. Hutchinson was hauled down but had managed to offload to supporting wing Liam Platts who went over. Man of the match went to the ever vocal/irritating for the opposition back row Matthew Keenan.
