Barry Adby elected as Sports Club President
At the Sports Club AGM, life long Cricket Club and Sports Club member and hard working hero of the club, Barry Adby was elected Sports Club President.
Club Secretary Chris Allen, proposed Barry filled the vacant role, which was unanimously supported. Barry stated he though Cricket Club President Gordon House would also make an excellent candidate, but it was felt that this way the club has two great clubmen at the helm. Barry sits on the Pavilion Committee as part of the Local Parish Council, where he actively and passionately defends the club when needed.
All the other Sports Club officials were happy to stand again, all being gratefully supported by the Clun Members present. Chris remains Club Secretary, Mick Lloyd (who thanked Barry for his outstanding efforts this year) remains Club Chairman and Bridget Griffiths continues doing an excellent job as Club Treasurer and Membership Secretary. Bridget was also voted onto the Pavilion Committee to represent the Football Club.
Thanks to all who attended.
