Several of Waverley's fine cricketers turned their attentions to the golf course, to compete for the unofficial first major of the year - the Specimen Cup. Trying their luck on the fairways and greens of Farnham Park were Troy, KV, Beanie, Doogs and Mongo.

Despite the majority of the field showing that their only golfing handicap was their own ability, there were a few moments of quality, particularly Troy's pin-seeking tee shot on the 8th hole which very nearly nestled in the cup for a hole-in-one.

The final standings saw Troy emerge as a clear winner, whilst Jim-Jam and KV were left to celebrate their first (of hopefully many) half centuries of the year.
