Scotland will face South Africa and Samoa in the group stages of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, as well as qualifiers from Asia and the Americas. The draw, made at the Tate Modern Art Gallery in London sees the national side in Pool B.
Scotland have faced Samoa a total of eight times including two previous clashes in the Rugby World Cup at Murrayfield, in 1991 and 1999. The Scots have won seven of the matches, with the other a draw in Edinburgh in 1995. Scotland first faced the Springboks in 1906 and have met a further twenty one times, most recently in the November Test with South Africa coming out on top 21-10 at Murrayfield.
There are four pools, each with five teams, with the top two from each pool qualifying for the knock-out phases.
