The Langloan head coach was thrilled with his side who battled hard on Saturday for the victory which eased their relegation fears.
Neil Collin and Neil Logue both scored tries for W/D against Strathendrick with Phil MacKenzie successfully kicking one conversion.
MacKenzie also slotted over a penalty with the boot of Gordon Milne adding another three points to the scoreboard.
“I was delighted with the win at the weekend,” head coach Morrison said.
“It’s becoming abundantly clear that if we get a number of individuals in the team playing regularly then we will be highly competitive.
“I thought it was a hard-fought game. Our defence was good and we made our tackles. I was also pleased with our positional sense during the match.”
Morrison couldn’t help but raise a laugh when he described how Logue popped up with the try that took the game out of the visitors’ reach.
“Phil kicked a penalty which bounced off the bar and up into the air,” he recalled.
“There was a split-second when everything and everyone just stopped to see where the ball was going to go.
“But Neil kept on running and caught the ball as it dropped out of the air.
“He was then able to just fall over the line and get us the points.”
W/D are back in action this weekend and will travel to joint-bottom McLaren. Morrison admits only victory will do.
He added: “It’s a must-win game for us and that is what we will be telling the players.”
