WDRFC Welcome Carrick this weekend in their first match of The BT West Regional Shield.
The Team Recognize the tough job they have in front of them, but are not shying away from it. Pre-season training has been a tough one, albeit fragmented, but since the appointment of Craig Collin as head coach, the sessions have improved, and training has become more structured.

Craig told the guys at Wednesday night training "Its our performance I will be focusing on, not the result. As long as we show the aspects of our game that we have been working on at training I will be happy as it shows we are moving in the right direction, and we are working together"

Carrick were promoted for our league last season as they finished second. They will be looking to start as they finished last year and will be tough opponents, but it is a challenge the team are relishing as we look to start our 2014/15 campaign in a positive manner.
