The match was a good one with both teams playing hard and Wednesbury just keeping their head in front regards to possession. It was on 22 minutes that Probert scored the only goal of the game which came from open play with Bellingham, back in the squad making a good run and then sending the ball back through midfield where the on going ball found Probert at the back post to slot away.

The remainder of the first half saw Wednesbury put a lot of pressure on but to no avail. Streetly played a young lady in goal who was unafraid of the tackles or the shots but in fairness to both teams Wednesbury did insufficient to really test her. Wednesbury and Streetly both had short corners in the last 10 minutes with the Wednesbury corner broken down and the Streetly one well saved by Bourne.

The second half saw Wilding, Fellowes and Cross get close but the final shot was well defended. Streetly came close on 39 mins with a shot across the goal going very close to the back post.

Streetly had short corners on 57th and 59th minute broken down by Wednesbury's defence and then came the big break of the half when Connor Hayward broke loose sending Bellingham wide and long. Hayward cut inside and Bellingham laid a super ball into the "D" but Hayward was just too slow as the keeper came out fast and low to clip the ball away from the end of his stick.

Streetly then had short corner routines on 61, 62 and 63rd minutes with one being deflected off Bourne's arm padding onto the post.
