On the 16th May Wednesbury played in the Old Hales under 16 hockey tournament. Due to a late with drawl from the tournament, instead of two groups of 5, all of the teams were entered into one pool of 9 teams.

Wednesburys 1st game of the tournament was against Worcester, great start to the tournamewnt with an opening 2-1 win(Joe Cattell & Stefan Forest), Wednesbury then continued with a 1-0 win over King Edwards with a goal from Stefan Forest, buoyed by 2 wins they then went into the next game against West Brom, unfortunately after a tight game West Brom scored a late goal to win 1-0. Wednesburys last game before lunch was against Walsall, looking to get back to winning ways Wednesbury could not have played any better, creating chance after chance having nearly double figure short corners awarded to them unfortunately they could not score, the game ending 0-0.
The 1st game after lunch was against Old Hales Whites a tight game ending 0-0.
Wednesbury needing to get back to winning ways next playing Streetly, Wednesbury got back to winning ways with a 2-0 win, with goals from Dan Cross & Joe Cattell, Wednesbury buoyed from there last win next played Kingswinford a great performance was rewarded by a 4-0 win with goals from Joe Cattell, Cameron Madeley(2) & Josh Lal. Wednesburys final League game was against Old Hales Blue this ended with another win with goals from Dan Cross & Stefan Forest.
Wednesbury finished in 2nd place rewarding them a place in the final against West Brom.
Unfortunatley this was one match too many with Wednesbury losing 3-0 in the final.
Wednesbury finished as runners up.
