Wednesbury started strongly in this game with Marcus Bourne pushing the ball across the opposition D but know one could get the touch. He was awarded a penalty corner 2 minutes later when upended inside the D but the ensuing strike was saved by the keeper. On 8 mins Brad Bellingham had a well struck reverse stick shot saved by the outstretched foot of the keeper and a minute later another penalty corner saw Mark Whitehouse' shot saved. Bellingham hit the side board on the very next attack in less than a minute.
The game proceeded like this until the 31st minute when Scott Craddock put the ball away from a Bellingham cross that hit a defenders stick and rose into the air over the keeper. Craddock at the back post raised his stick in the air above the players and guided the ball down into the net behind the keeper. The official however saw it all as dangerous play and disallowed the goal. On 33 minutes Old Wulfs attacked and Taylor's outstretched stop saw the ball move away from him just enough for the opposition to latch on and put the ball past Nathan Bourne. Whether there was no call to leave or not, we don't know from the side line but they went into the lead against the run of play which was disappointing as Wednesbury had clearly dominated the half with 70% of the play in their favour.

Wednesbury looked under pressure initially but settled down after 4 or 5 minutes with attempts from Bellingham and Ben Lowe, the later being a great strike well saved by the keeper who had so far played really well for Old Wulfs.
A penalty corner to Wednesbury was unfortunately missed but a well worked attack by Chris Broadbent and Ryan Fellowes saw the later put the ball away well to even the score 1 v 1 after 50 mins.
It all happened then over a period of 3 minutes as Old Wulfs went back into the lead from a well worked penalty corner on 17 mins and Wednesbury responded on 18 mins when the second strike on goal from a penalty corner saw Ben Lowe equalise for Wednesbury 2 v 2.
Several attempts by Wednesbury looked good after an impressive 5 minutes of heavy pressure and then on 62 minutes Wednesbury got their deserved 3rd goal again from Ben Lowe as he calmly put the ball away from a nice attacking move and a good cross the D ball found him waiting. Wednesbury thought they had sealed the deal when a long ball from James Taylor found Mike Brown who struck a clean ball at the goal only to be thwarted by the keeper again.
With literally seconds to go an Old Wulfs attack down the right flank saw Ash Palmer make a rash tackle inside the 25, the umpire had little choice to blow for a penalty corner. As play stopped the final whistle blew but the penalty corner had to be taken.
You know whats coming next........................................... yep Old Wulfs scored to even the game 3 v 3

Such a shame but that's how it is. A lesson learned we hope................................ it aint over till the fat lady sings or in this case the final whistle has blown.
