Evening League Defeat Dooms Weirs to Drop
Weirs look certain to be relegated from the First Division of the Evening League after losing to Queens Park by 2 wickets at Albert Park.
Weirs batted first and managed to post 110 for 6, Shahid Hanif top scoring with 36.
In the Queens Park reply wickets fell steadily but the Weirs total proved to be not quite enough with Queens Park getting home with 2 wickets and 1 over to spare. Ibrar Akram took 4 wickets and Shahid Hanif 3. Malik top scored for QP with 40 not out.
