It ended up being a pretty soggy week of cricket with 4 out of the 6 scheduled matches being called-off but Weirs did get through to a Cup Final.

Both Saturday league matches against Stirling County fell victim to the weather. The Sunday League game against Ayr was also called off - Ayr had a Scottish Cup tie as well and didn't feel that they could get two teams out on a Sunday.

There was some midweek cricket though. On Wednesday Weirs lost their unbeaten record in the West League Cup group stages, going down to a six wicket defeat against Poloc at Shawholm. But they made up for that on Thursday with a nail-biting 1 run victory at Old Anniesland against GHK that took them through to the final of the Glasgow Cup. The final will be played on Thursday 25th June against either Helensburgh or Hamilton.

Tuesday's Western Cup tie against Poloc was cancelled due to the rain and will now be played on Tuesday 9th June.
