Both the 1st and 2nd XI remain winless after suffering heavy defeats against Kelubrne.

At Albert Park Weirs batted first and started well, moving to 74 for 2 mainly thanks to 37 from Ibrar Akram. But then Weirs' familiar batting woes set in as they collapsed. Eight wickets fell for just 32 runs and Weirs were all out for 106.

Siggy young took 2 early wickets and then a crazy run-out that left Kelubrne on 35 for 3 briefly offered Weirs some hope. But the Kelburne 4th wicket pair, McMillan and Hussain, batted well and took their team home to a 7 wicket victory.

It was even more one sided at Whitehaugh where Albert Park batted first and were bundled out for just 65. Sheroz Akram top scored with 17. Grant Milliken took 5 wickets for the home side.

Whitehaugh took just 8.1 overs to blast their way to the tiny victory target of 66. The whole thing was over by 3 o'clock and the 2nd XI sadly remain winless in any competition even though we are now into July.
