St Michaels comfortably made it to the victory target of 109 for the loss of just 4 wickets. Brockwell capped a fine all-round performance by scoring 59 for St Michaels. Siggy Young took a couple of wickets for Weirs.
The second team game between Albert Park and Nunholm was rained off, as were most other matches in the west on Saturday. Weirs did at least manage to record a win on Sunday, beating Clydesdale by 39 runs in the Sunday League.
