Weirside Rangers part company with 1st team manager Yurek Idzik.

It was announced yesterday that Yurek Idzik will no longer be in office as the 1st XI manager at Weirside Rangers.

After 18 months in charge Yurek led the team to a 5th placed finish last season and the side currently lie 4th going into this campaigns Xmas break. The side also made it through to the AFA cup quarterfinals last seasons where eventual finalists Nottsborough knocked them out.

Along with his commitment and enthusiasm, Yurek also brought with him a fantastic level of coaching and knowledge of the game, which are a huge asset in amateur league football.

It was not a decision taken lightly but the clubs committee felt the time was right for a change at the club and wish Yurek all the best of luck in the future.

An announcement will be made shortly as to who will come in to manage the side for the remainder of this season.
