Wellington traveled to Minehead under a blazing sun and outclassed their opponents.
Playing up the hill in the first half they were soon ahead through a Joe Garland try. Further tries followed through Ben Gamlin (2), George Hooper (2), and Will Brewer. Ricky Marke converted two to turn around 34 nil up.
Wellington made numerous changes as the game progressed but the tries just kept coming George Hooper took his tally to 4 on the day while Joe Garland added another. Marke converted three more to make the final score 55. Minehead are a young developing side who will only improve while, Wellington are starting to show some real class. They are not quite the finished article however, often kicking away possession when it is crying out to be run, better teams will punish that.
The lads have an early start on Friday morning when they leave Wellington for the beautiful city of Bruge on their end of season tour, playing against two local teams
