Ceri has been dealing with JG with regard the senior players. Currently there are still a number of senior players to pay, as well as a number of the ladies. Most of the issues revolve around dual registration of players with other clubs
Andy Crayford has now dropped out as membership secretary for the senior section of the club, Ceri has very kindly taken on the role.
4. Club Financial position
Kate reported there had been a number of issues with billing by Parkwood for the pool hire. Between their head office and local office they hadn’t got a firm idea of our liabilities, Kate has resolved.
Our current account position hasn’t been as strong as usual due to the paying off the historical pool hire debt. This will be completed by September 14.
Sports council grant- of the £1500 we still need to need to demonstrate expenditure of this over the year or would have to re-pay. It was agreed to fund Tim Marshall to undertake his UK Level 2 coaches certificate, (which will be in the order of £400.) this was agreed on the basis that he makes himself available to aid with the Wednesday night sessions on a regular basis. RM still to provide copies of invoices from the recent development trip to Egar to be allocated against the fund.
JG noted that the small goal set is broken, could this be used if repair costs are accrued? Agreed to approach the pool first on the basis that the goals belong to them.

5. Fees
Kate noted there are still one or two people still to update their standing order forms to this year’s fees!
6. Coaches report
No update for this meting
7. Additional sessions
Current Times to be added to the web-site.

If additional sessions do become available, these to be published on the web.

Recent results – played 3 won 2, lost one and are currently standing second in the league.
9. Welsh League
Currently no games are being played, Kate has sent out a number of invitations to other clubs to play fixtures, with no response at the moment.
10. Tournaments
This year’s expedition to Manchester proved to be a great success with the team taking the runners up spot for the whole tournament. This is our best result as a club to date and is a fantastic achievement by the players, with great support from the coaches, parents and team management. There are some great articles on the website detailing the team’s progress throughout the event. Well done everyone!!!!
Proposed WWWPC tournament - 1998’s and 2000’s- Further to discussion, the date for the proposed tournament as revised to the 4th October. Jane and Kate volunteered to send out initial invitations to test interest. Tim to contact CIP to confirm availability. Subject to there being sufficient response, we will go into detail planning stage from the next meeting

The web site is looking really good with regular updates being added. Sean has obviously missed his calling in life and should take up writing, and Connor has done some excellent reports, a career in journalism awaits!

SS to forward calendar of National and GB events for the next year. – no one sure if Sian did this, please could you re-send.

Gareth Chamberlin has been extremely successful in obtaining sponsored items for the club. A new notice board is to be erected on the pool balcony over the next week or so. Also his company have funded the supply of a new set of match hats. Very many thanks to Gareth for his assistance.
