Wanderers BWWPL 02's played two home games last weekend.
The first was against a very good Devonport side in the Porth swimming pool. This pool is not the best for our style of Polo. It is too narrow and too shallow. That said the opposition were under the same conditions.
We started the first quarter well and scored some good goals.
The second quarter we did not score any and it was a long way back from there. The final score was 6-16.
The game against Exeter was a big improvement. We were back in our home pool and it showed.
Exeter did not make it easy for us but we managed to stay ahead untill the last quarter when we really started playing well.
Final score 21-9
The next game is away to Exeter next Sunday night at 730 if any one fancies a brisk walk down the M5.
