Welwyn RFC

Our first Players Awards night in a different format goes off as a huge success with some 90 Players attending.The evening went extremely well and was very well attended. Our President Malcolm Tucker was very kind enough to present the winners with their awards. We also wished good luck to Simon Banks, Grant Keeler and Gareth Hughes on their retirement from 1st Team Rugby. All of who have been great servants to Welwyn RFC. MR Ian Cousins was also thanked for his tremendous 10 year stint as 1st Team manager.
The evening was duly rounded off with Mark Elliott showing no mercy to anyone within firing distance in his speech.
