Once again, Welwyn RFC plays host to the 4th Annual Dan Ginty Memorial Rugby Tournament on Saturday 18th July 2015. The event has been moved to a little earlier in the calendar and as a result, this season’s event will be in 7’s format for the senior men’s section.

Eight men’s teams will battle it out across two pools of four, with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the knockout Cup Competition. In addition, the bottom two teams from each pool will advance to the knockout Plate Competition.

As well as a packed playing schedule of fast paced festival rugby, spectators can enjoy the sunshine with a selection of summer drinks specials and fuel up for the day at the club BBQ.

As soon as the rugby has finished, the annual “Sh!t Shirt After Party” begins. We’re delighted to announce that due to popular demand, the open mic session will feature in the entertainment schedule again this year, as well as the popular Hog Roast, kindly sponsored by the Ginty family.
