Welwyn One Club Day

check this out and please make every attempt to be there

“Dear Clubmen,

Firstly let me take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Head coach for Welwyn RFC and welcome you to a new opportunity at the club. I think it is fair to say that the last few seasons have been challenging for everyone involved. But that time is over. This season comes with it a new opportunity and a new challenge. The opportunity is to get back to winning ways, the challenge is to restore pride into the Welwyn badge. All of this starts with hard work and that hard work is call pre season!

To kick start the new season, The Welwyn ONE Club day will take place on Saturday the 23rd of June at the club. The morning will consist of introductions to the new coaches, club values and setting goals/expectations for the season alongside with a bit of team building. From lunch time onwards the BBQ will be fired up, the bar will opened and family & friends are then invited to take part in a relaxed afternoon of fun games and good company.

I have attached an outline of the day (11.30 start) which will hopefully give you a better understanding of what will be included. I really hope you can all make it and I am looking forward to meeting you all at the club.

And remember……Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard!

Kind regards,

James Coles.”
