WESSEX DEVON 1 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS
Wessex secured promotion by an impressive four try performance against St.Columb and Torpoint, with two games to go.
Wessex only required 3 points to put promotion beyond any doubt but managed to take all 5. With tries coming from Dan Morris , Chris Brown , Ian Day and Dean Meldon with Tom Gwynne adding 2 conversions and 2 penalties.
With the league secured for promotion, Wessex can now look forward to a semi-final Devon Junior Cup game against Topsham in the coming weeks.
