West Bank hit the ground running in 2015 with the open age once again competing in the BARLA National Cup and then has the honour of representing the North West Men's League in the Rugby League Challenge Cup.

We went out of the BARLA cup in the 1st round last season after a determined performance against the famous Sharlston club.

This season's first round is on the 10th January and if we progress to the next round that game will be on January 24th.

The first round of the Challenge cup is on the weekend of 31January/1 February with the 2nd round on 14/15 February.

This will be only the second time in the modern history of the club that we have appeared in the Challenge Cup. In 2012 we defeated Stanningley and heartbreakingly lost narrowly to Hunslet Old Boys.

Training for the new season starts on Thursday 18th December at our ground. New players will be very welcome.
