A good result against a Slaithwaite team who showed plenty of spirit even when behind on the scoreboard,Our lads showed some excellent defence and kept the hosts to 2 trys the 1st one being a great full length effort. Owen Peacock was outstanding at fullback and made it look easy, Alex Handol again drove the ball in well and new boy Jack Sutcliffe looked comfortable everytime he got the ball and was duly awarded MOM but was pushed all the way by James Woolham.
