Below are some key dates for the beginning of the season, although I will be in touch with you before then with more details.

Please forward this onto anyone you think might be interested in coming down and joining the club this year – we always need and encourage new players and your word of mouth / recommendations are key !

Training Commences – Sunday 6th Sept, 10.15am meet for a 10.30am start at Alford Road Playing Fields
U6s (Year1), U7s (Year 2) and U8s (Year 3).
The session will last for about 1hour 30 mins and is at the rugby pitch nearest the training rooms.
We are at Alford Road for two weeks - Sunday 6th and 13th September.
We will be back at our grounds on Stamford Road on Sunday 20th September.

Please bring a drink as there will be lots of water breaks. Trainers will be ok but football boots are preferable, especially as it gets muddier. Lots of layers for clothes, so the children have the option to cool down or keep warm later in the season.

The emphasis is on fun and not the winning, especially at this age group, and we ask that parents stay near at hand.

New Players
New players are always very welcome to join us for the first few weeks in September before committing to pay the registration fee – please liaise with your age group coaches.

Where you can help us
This season we would really like some more parents/friends to help us with coaching or admin for the U6’s and U7's squads.
I know that some of last year's parents mentioned that they are willing to help out with the coaching for this coming season.
So please confirm with me if you are still able to help out. (Please!) so I can arrange a meeting.

Keep an eye on the U6 and U7 section of the West Bridgford RFC website during the season in case there are any changes to the weekly arrangements.
