History
Westbury on Severn is a young growing Rugby Club that was formed in 1987. Originally Westbury Young Farmers Club would play an annual game of rugby on the Westbury football pitch. This would entail strapping telegraph poles to the goals to make the posts.
A group of these farmers including club stalwart Ken Boulton formed the club with the view that was sufficent interest to form a team.
Westbury is renowned for its warm welcome and excellent club spirit
