This years annual football match between the Football Club and Cricket Club will be on the 27th December, 12:30 KO.
The annual Football Match between Westbury United Football Club and Westbury On Severn Cricket Club has been resurrected and will be played on 27th December at Westbury Village Hall with KO at approximately 12:30pm.
Never has a match been played between more bitter foes since the famous 1914 World War 1 game between British and German soldiers during the unnofficial Christmas Truce.
The football club hold the edge with 1 draw and 1 victory from the two games played so far but the Cricket Club are pulling out all the stops with a very competetive team.
The bar will be open and Clive Tempest and David D'Ambrogio will be cooking curries for after the game but please don't let this put you off!
