A video supplied by second team captain Dave Hannigan shows some of our wickets, our practice area, some of the outfield and the adjacent rugby pitch under water.

Our pitch was flooded in 2015 following Storm Desmond, and this caused some damage as the surface water remained for five to six weeks.

However, thanks to drainage work undertaken during the last two seasons much of this water has now gone.

Whether any damage has been done is yet to be assessed.
