Westhoughton 2XI continued the defence of the League title with another convincing 7 point win against Tonge.Having lost the toss Westhoughton were invited to bat on what looked an under prepared pitch.Having lost 2 early wickets Matt Trow and capt Arun Pindoria looked to rebuild the innings with Matt making his maiden senior half century proving to be the backbone of the innings as he was finally out for 73.
In reply Tonge got off to a flyer making a quick fire 50 with only the loss of 1 wicket lbw to Matt Fanning,however once a further 2 wickets fell to Nathan Blair and 3 wickets to Wasim Nawab's bowling Oliver Turner came on to wrap up the tail in quick time finishing with 4 wickets for 5 runs off only 2 overs
