Westhoughton Lions RL

Just a quick report on the challenge that is the Three Peaks. Unfortunately for me I thought someone said the three weeks but as it turned out 24 hours was added after the shock had worn off.
The challenge proved to be the hardest thing i've been UNLUCKY to have been involved in and to those who don't know what it entails - just the small matter of the highest peaks in England, Scotland AND Wales to be completed as well as travelling between them without the small matters of beds, duvets or blankets which involve SLEEP IN 24 HOURS.
This was undertaken in the great name of the LIONS to raise money for club funds.
Could I please call upon all members of the club to fully support this sponsorship drive as it really is in the benefit of everyone at the club.

Sponsorship forms are available - just ask and we will provide as I think this could be really successful.

Please help make all the hard work worthwhile as after the challenge which I did manage in 22.40 hours even my eyebrows were hurting !!!!!!
