WL Captain Sam Neave has won the Crabbies National Amateur Rugby Player of the Year

At a ceremony to match the oscars at Twickenham, Sam Neave beat the competition to win 'National Amateur Rugby Player of the Year'.

Sam started rugby with the juniors at West Leeds and has played all the way through to now being WL Captain. He has captained the side to many honours (Yorkshire 2 champions, Yorkshire Shield, RFU Intermediate Cup, RFU National Senior Vase & Promotion from Yorkshire 1) and now has another to add to his personal tally.

Andy Neave was also at the event as a finalist for 'RFU Coach of the Year' but unfortunately narrowly missed out.

Congratulations to the fine achievements!
