In a bumper crowd, West Leeds vs Bradford and Bingley was the finale of a great Yorkshire rugby day out.

With Thornensians beating Wetherby in the Silver Trophy before hand, Wests stormed into the game as underdogs with their tail wagging.

This was the final game for West Leeds to ensure they went the whole season unbeaten. They are one of only a few clubs to have won the league, National cup and Yorkshire shield in the same season.
