Westoe under 9s sponsored by Port of Tyne, attended the rearranged County Cup Tournament hosted by Gateshead Fell Rugby Club. Several teams were involved and Westoe were drawn in a tough group against Billingham, Guisborough and Hartlepool.

Westoe under 9’s played at Billingham on very hard ground which did not suit their normal tough tackling style. The lads also had to contend with a strong wind on an exposed pitch. They played two games against Billingham and Middlesbrough.
