National Tag Rugby Finals 2011 On July 12th eleven pupils from St. Aloysius R.C. Junior School, Hebburn travelled to Rugby School, Warwickshire to take part in the National Tags to Twickenham Tag Rugby Finals. They had beaten over 40,000 children entered in the first rounds nationally to qualify to play for the fourth consecutive time at Rugby. Being only one of 2 schools ever to do so, they lined up against 19 of the nations best school rugby teams. View » -

On 1st July 2011 The Blue Lamp Foundation will be hosting its first charity golf day followed by an evening function at The Ramside Hall Hotel near Durham city. The charity has already received considerable support from high profile celebrities including Dragon's Den, Duncan Bannatyne, who has agreed to be one of the charity’s patrons together with TV personality Carol Vorderman. .
