Over the course of the past few months, members of the Developmental XV have been making weekly visits to the local RAF club. Whether it's having a drink, playing bingo or just spending time there, the players try to do their bit to help keep the club up and running. The visits may only be once a week but they make a big difference to the club and its members.
So when Adam Pace decided to take part in the Great North Run this year, it was an easy choice to try and support the same cause. The winger has been challenged to beat a time of 1:18:36 for the 13.1 mile course, a time originally set by Warren Ridley of the South Shields & Westoe RFC Senators.
If you would like to donate online, please click HERE. Alternatively, sponsorship forms are also available from Adam if you'd like to donate via cash. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you have anything to offer which could boost Adam's fundraising, please don't hesitate to contact him through the club.
We wish him the best of luck and hope he smashes his £1,000 target!
