Help South Shields Westoe RFC Recover from COVID

We were unable to complete our games and had to stop training. This brought the club’s community, leisure and hospitality activities to an immediate stop. With current funds diminishing and loss of income over the last year from community, leisure and hospitality, memberships, match day hospitality packages, sponsorship and income from the bar, we need your vital support. This support will allow us to survive the COVID-19 financial impact, revive our club facilities with much needed improvements and plan a future that allows us to thrive. We are therefore reaching out to our local community, club members, players (past and present), supporters, residents, and businesses to all pull together and collectively help us through our most difficult time. With your help, we can continue to provide members of our community with the opportunity to engage in regular and meaningful activities. We have applied for Sport England matched funding of £7,500. It works by us raising £7,500 from our crowd and then they will match it and give us the same amount. If we don’t raise the target amount, we get nothing of Sport England, sadly it’s an all or nothing offer! So please help us reach our target!
