Victories for the three Weston senior sides

Weston-super-Mare ended their run of nine defeats in National Three South West with a 25-18 victory away to fellow strugglers Chard.

Cronin Gleeson, Shaun Eaton and Glenn Dickson crossed for tries for the Seasiders with Dickson (pictured) adding two conversions and two penalties.

Despite the win Weston remain one place off the foot of the table, 13 points from safety, with Chard at the foot of the table, 17 points behind the Seasiders with eight points above in the third of the relegation places.

Redingensians are nine points clear at the top of the table after their 67-17 win at Old Patesians with Exmouth second after their 16-10 defeat at Old Centralians. Bracknell moved into third place following their 25-20 at home to Brixham who are a point behind.

Hornets are fifth having won 33-20 at home to Bournemouth; Old Centralians are sixth two points above Newton Abbot who lost 32-26 at home to Barnstaple while Old Redcliffians won 17-10 away to Oxford Harlequins who visit Weston on Saturday.

Weston United returned to winning ways to remain in third place in the Tribute Somerset Premier table with a 47-3 home victory over Taunton United while Gordano hold on to top spot with a 20-10 win at Oldfield Old Boys.

Winscombe are second, three points clear of Weston, following a 35-nil win at St Bernadettes Old Boys. Tor are fourth, a point behind Weston, following a 62-12 home win over Clevedon 2ndXV.

Other results form the Tribute Somerset Premier league - Nailsea & Backwell won 19-15 at home to Minehead Barbarians; Yatton won 35-19 away to Old Redcliffians 2ndXV; the game between Imperial and Wiveliscombe was postponed.

Weston Athletic also returned to winning ways with a 22-12 win away to Walcot 2ndXV to keep them third in the Tribute Somerset 2 North table while Old Bristolians are in top spot with a 12-5 win away to Winscombe 2ndXV

Second placed Bristol Harlequins 2ndXV had a 'Home Walk Over' as Nailsea & Backwell were unable to raise a second team. Clevedon 3rdXV also had a 'Home Walk Over' as Keynsham were unable to raise a 3rdXV

Oldfield Old Boys 2ndXV won 54-7 away to Gordano 2ndXV; Old Redcliffians 3rdXV won 24-10 at home to Imperial 2ndXV; Stothert & Pitt 2ndXV were 62-nil home winners over Old Culverhaysians.
