West Park Leeds lost their unbeaten league record, going down 13 v 26 to a well organised and fully committed Bradford Salem.
Trailing by just 6 points going into the final few minutes the hosts kicked away a clear two man overlap that could have won the game.
Moments later an interception try sealed a thoroughly deserved away win as the hosts chased the game.
Salem now look nailed on for one of the promotion spots with what looks like a three horse race developing for the other.
Tom Stokes had a fine game at scrum half, scoring a try before having to leave the game early amongst a spate of second half home injuries. Fullback Simon Towler converted the try and kicked two penalties.
A somewhat below strength West Park Warriors side acquitted itself well despite going down to a 47 v 10 loss to Wharfedale Foresters.
Prop Big Phil Adams scored the visitors' only try.
