Big Cup win for the Fours

First team and Reserves games (eventually) are postponed.

With Corkscrew Hill pitches declared dangerous at 10am -- all 3 games were called off. I went to Dulwich to watch the Reserves play HAC in the AFA Cup Quarter Final -- we were assured that the game would go ahead but it didn't. The referee called the game off 5 minutes before kick off time -- this was the right decision -- the pitch was rock hard and was too small for men's football. Surely if we play at the same ground next week we will be allocated the biggest pitch next to the Clubhouse -- the pitch in front of the dressing rooms is also too small for senior football -- neither are wide enough.

So its over to the AFA -- what kind of decision will they make??????

Luckily the Fours were able to hire the 4G pitch at Bromley FC to play their AFA Cup Quarter Final against Old Meadonians and they ran out 7 - 1 winners with a fabulous hat trick from Matt Fitch. Jack Horgan, Mike Parker, Paul Farthing and Ian Brooke got the others.

The Threes went to Polytechnic in the SAL and won 3 - 1 with Neil Fleming getting two (probably for the first time for the Bluebloods) and Chris Hall the other.

The Fives continued their good form drawing 1 - 1 at Civil Service in a game that they should really have won.
