Cuzza's Threes add 5 -- Under 20's lose narrowly to BROMLEY ACADEMY.

The Threes were trailing 4 - 2 to HSBC but came back strongly in the second period -- adding three goals they ran out 5 - 4 winners. A last gasp penalty award gave us the opportunity to win the game and late substitute Chris Jones claimed the chance for glory much to Brutus's dis may. Jonesy crashed the ball into the net completely unphased.
Abi Balogun was on the score sheet again -- Peter Welch, Jack Stevens and Chris Rose got the others.

Tonight Andy Foster takes the Reserves to HSBC and another close game is expected.

Steve Baker, Head Academy Coach at BROMLEY FC, brought his squad to Corkscrew Hill last night and ran out 4 - 2 winners in a very close encounter. The visitors scored two excellent goals -- the fourth would have graced any Premiership ground -- the youngster will probably never score another like it his lifetime -- but I hope he does.
Referee Keith D'Urso awarded two penalties both of which were converted -- Jake Lowe scored ours and Connor Byrne scored the other.

With so many boys from our Under 17's and the fact that most of the squad hardly knew each other, we were not really expecting such a good performance from them but they were unlucky to lose by two clear goals. The Academy only had four shots and they all went in but they just about deserved their success and we wish them well for the coming season.

Thanks to KDO for officiating and to The Chairman for the catering.
