Terry High hits four for the Fives but I forgot the 2 penalties for the Reserves.

The First team lost Joe Ivory on Friday night with a recurrent knee problem. Newly promoted Merton proved to be tough opposition as we expected -- they had too much experience for the much younger Wickham side and they came out of the game with a deserved 1 - 0 win.

The Reserves dominated the first 30 minutes of their AFA Cup game against Old Actonians but could only score once through Charlie McGeary. The visitors forced their way back into the game and equalised in the second half -- it ended 1 - 1 after extra time although Charlie was unlucky to be denied a second goal by the goalpost. We missed two pens in the shoot out --- and out we went 4 - 2.

The Threes took all 3 points from their game at Polytechnic with Connor Byrne getting two and Chris Hall, straight off the plane from Thailand, adding another to his tally. The game finished 4 - 3 the other goal being donated by an Polytechnic defender.

The Fours were away at muddy Merton where they won 3 - 0. Stu D'Urso scored for the second week running and Sean Wander got off the Cold List. Paul Tookey added a third and things are looking up for Sam Salisbury's side.

The Fives featured in a 10 goal thriller at Carshalton winning 6 - 4. Terry High found his shooting boots hitting four goals courtesy of some great work by Luke Skelly with two assists. Adam Pizzie and Liam Lippett were also on target.

Mike Cadman was back from injury for the Sixes and he snatched an 89th minute winner against BB Eagles at Corkscrew Hill.
