There is always a lot of chat about how the Reserves would give the First team a good game or the Threes could easily beat the Reserves etc etc. If this was the case then the Selection Committee would be doing a p..s poor job.

Yesterday's 5 - 0 for the First team over the Reserves demonstrates that the above conjectures are fallacious. Goals came from Jamie James, Joe Ivory 2, Charlie Kallas and Matt King and it could have been quite a few more.

The Threes went to Old Westminster Citizens with a Manager who was only partially functioning and won 3 - 1 with goals from Joe Rahilly, Anthony Sawyers and Chris Hall. Fozzie is expected to recover before Christmas.

The Vets now Play Winchmore Hill 8's in the AFA Junior Novets Cup on 17th January -- they beat Alexander Park 5 - 0 on Saturday in the previous Round.
