Odds of 800 - 1 landed.

You just never know your luck.

According to the Surgeon the odds of getting an infection from a medical operation are 800 - 1. Having had an arthroscopy on 8th December without any side effects I thought that I had missed the boat. However, 22 days later the right knee was so badly infected that I could not even walk one step ---- and the odds were landed making it my biggest touch for many years.

To cut a very long story short I have been confined to bed or hospitalised since 31st December and have had two further operations. Last night I was released from custody but with a "tag" -- as the treatment has to continue for another 5 weeks.

I have really missed everybody at WWFC but have been in touch by phone and I will update the site in the next few days. I hope to watch the Threes on Saturday but my wife is sure to intervene so good luck Scotty if I am not there.

Many thanks to all those who have asked after my progress -- I really appreciate your concern. Thanks Paul for the article on the site -- it cheered me up.
